MASAOG Meets
Tank open days are held at members houses in each state by prior arrangement. There is no requirement to have members come and view your tank, but often it is a rewarding experience, where members offer and share advice/personal experiences in dealing with a range of problems in regard to marine husbandry, plumbing, and simple ways/methods to improve your tank!
Also these event allow an easy way for hobbyists to bring along and trade frags of corals and macro algae with each other, so you may even be offered a small amount of livestock for hosting such an event!
Virtual Frag Tank
MASAOG has a number of members that are committed to coral propagation and husbandry to allow frags (i.e. fragments of parent coral colonies) to be swapped exclusively between our members. Currently we have a closed forum (only visible to MASAOG members) setup to allow discussion, display and sale/trade of frags exclusively between our members! And with members in as many states as ours your sure to end up with something exotic soon after you’ve become a member.
