How to Join

Thank-you for your interest in wanting to join the Marine Aquarium Society of Australia Orphan Group (MASAOG). There are two ways to complete the process. The first method will give you full online access to Reefing The Australian Way (RTAW) forums; whereas the second process will only provide you basic membership.

RTAW forums is an online discussion group where marine aquarists, also known as reefers, from across the country come together to discuss all aspects of reefing. Here you will also be able to take advantage of the numerous offers and discounts that are provided by our corporate sponsors, who keep the forums online.

To get online access/membership please complete steps 1-4 below. For non-online membership please just complete steps 3-4.

MASAOG Membership:

1. Register a user ID at the "Reefing the Australian Way" Forums: click here to register
   - set the login and display names to be the same and input a valid email address
2. An administrator of RTAW forums will approve your login and an automatic email notification will be sent to you to inform you of this
3. Finally, an annual membership to MASAOG has been set at $20.00. Regional or Remote Reefers can join for $15. Please transfer this amount to the following bank account:

4. Once the above is complete send us an email (masaog@masa.asn.au) including your RTAW user ID, postal address, mobile phone number (for newsletters and other publications) and we will update your profile so that you can post/reply in the MASAOG forums. We will also email you a membership number so that you can take advantage of any discounts provided by our sponsors.
